A number of battles in the history of Britain resound down the ages. Hastings, the defeat of the Spanish Armada, Trafalgar, Waterloo and The Battle of Britain. And for all but the first two, the Stamford Mercury was there reporting them as the news was received from London. This fourteen page pamphlet gives the historical background to the battle. It also contains items and pictures from the newspaper.
